Best Haircut For Your Face

As we all know, there are some haircuts that just don't go with our face. We've all made the mistake of getting bangs or parting our hair differently and it's a complete disaster. To make sure that doesn't happen again, here's some tips of how to cut your hair to make sure it looks fabulous.

Which face shape are you? Pull your hair back into a tight ponytail to help you decide.

Long/Oblong Face Shape
If you have a more oblong face shape, the bottom half of your face is round. Your face is basically oval all around. Here are some great haircuts for you!

Sarah Jessica Parker has an long face shape, but with the perfect haircut, it's not too noticeable. As you see, parting your hair closer to the middle, and getting layers up until your chin starts makes your face look shorter and wider, for the illusion of having the ideal face.

Rumer Willis has a more obvious oblong face shape, and she's still able to rock short hair. In fact, I think it looks better short. For an oblong face, it's better to part your hair in the middle or dramatically to one side. Also, the top part of your hair, especially with a short haircut, should be fuller than the lower part.

Heart Shaped Face
If you have a heart shaped face, your chin is longer and it also gets narrower as it gets longer. Luckily for you, you have a face shape that can go with many different hairstyles!

A bob-cut would look great with your face shape! Just make sure that the bob is fullest where the widest part of your face is. This makes your chin look slightly shorter. Luckily for you, you can pretty much part your hair just about anywhere. Just make sure it's parted the way you like it.

If you want to leave your hair long, the best thing to do is layer it, with the shortest layer to the widest part of your face. If you're going to part it to the side, it's best to give yourself side-swept bangs. Also, you can part it directly in the middle, with no bangs.

Square Shaped Face
If you have a square shaped face, your face resembles a box. Also, your bone structure is much stronger than other women. Here are some hair suggestions to make your face look more feminine.

If you have a square shaped face, it's best to keep the layers to a minimum, but they should still be there. Also, it's best if you part your hair just of the center. Since your face probably looks really symmetrical already, parting it just off center will give it a little edge. Straight cut bangs all across your forehead usually doesn't look flattering with this face shape.

Oval Face Shape
Oval face shaped are considered to be very feminine. People with oval face shapes normally have a short, but well rounded chin and a short forehead.

Short bobs look very nice on this face shape. Usually, this face shape looks best with hair that is all one length. Also, it's best to part your hair dramatically to side  if you have this face shape.

Also, pretty much any length of hair looks great on those of you with an oval faced shape. Cheek bone length, chin length, shoulder length, or even waist length.
