The Wombats

This past weekend, I saw The Wombats in concert at the Fall Ball here in Tucson, and I was incredibly impressed. They were given the tough spot of being first before other anticipated performances (KottonMouth Kings, All That Remains, Switchfoot, Everlast, Hollywood Undead, & The Offspring). The band performed multiple songs from their album, The Modern Glitch, and almost performed these perfectly. My two personal favorites were Jump into the Fog and 1996. Not only did they perform these songs without flaws, but they also interacted with the audience by speaking of their hometown, Liverpool, and telling jokes while onstage. They're not my favorite band and I didn't know any of their songs memorized but they did guarantee one thing, a good time.
