A style that you may commonly hear about is hipster. What is it? The hipster style, in my opinion, is the cross between a hippie and a nerd. Basically, the hipster style does anything but follow what's "in". The key to dressing like a hipster is buying clothes and accessories that you can't find anywhere. Hit thrift stores, vintage shops, and even garage sales. Anything older than 25 years old is considered vintage.Floral is a must.

Wearing floral clothing gives that vintage feel to it, which is practically what hipster is. It's a mixture of styles from the past. Anything from floral shoes, to floral dresses can be found just about anywhere. In my opinion, they're quite stylish. Whether you're trying to be a hipster or not.
Vintage. Vintage. Vintage.

Nothing screams the 1960s-80s like vintage band shirts. That's why these are a complete must in your closet if you want to dress like a "hipster".
Nerd Glasses.

For some reason, every time I hear the word hipsters, I think of nerd glasses. The reason why? Because almost every hipster owns a pair of these. They can be these type of nerd glasses or any nerd glasses from decades as far as the 50s.
Odd Prints.

If you've found a pair of shorts, or a blouse that is made with a print that no one would ever wear, then bingo, you've more than likely found something that a hipster would wear. In this picture, numbers 2, 5, 6, and 8 are especially hipster. They all give an old-time vibe, which is what hipsters look for.
Many hipsters are often stereotyped to be rebels to modern style and the mainstream ways, but I personally think that it's been turned into a style more than anything. I think it's a way to be fashionable without being fashionable in the eyes of most magazines. What do you guys think?
